Show in the Empress Garden w/ Extravision, Nicholas Naioti, & Space Country Museum

Extravision is psychfolk/singer-songwriter music of Des Moines, Iowa native Ryan Stier, who's diverse use of 12-string guitar provides a shimmery and full omnipresence with equally diverse and haunting existential melodies. Stier's songwriting is akin to Sufjan Stevens, Jose Gonzales and Fruit Bats. As of 2012 he has toured extensively through the Northeast U.S., Midwest and West Coast and has shared stages with Warpaint, The Lumineers, Gin Blossoms, Strand of Oaks, S. Carey, Maps and Atlases, Widowspeak, Esme Patterson, Shook Twins and The Lone Bellow. Extravision is touring in support of “Nothing Will Remain” EP, self-released in May 2016. Debut full length to be released in 2017.

"Nicholas Naioti, MR NASTI himself, is one of those people whose face and voice effortlessly convey his sincerity and joy... The consistent thread through all his tireless music-making is his heart, his desire to connect to audiences and share his love of life... The result is a charming, energizing and life-affirming experience in rock that will echo in your ears after the show and stay in your heart for the rest of your life."

-Nate Logsdon, Des Moines Music Coalition

Andy Maag and the Space Country Museum was formed to play a series of song Portraits and Still-Lifes about the people and objects in Andy's life.  They play "country" music, but not really Country Music, and sometimes they where hats.  Everybody sings, and plays in other bands like The Other Band on Earth, Rebel Rebel, the Katie Turley Band, Laura Lackey and the Rhythm Revue, Smoking Ziggurats, and more.
